Nidoking Review

Okay, before we start, I need to apologise. Why? Because I'm probably a little overhyped. If you didn't know, Nidoking is like my favourite Pokémon.

Let's see how he looks.
Try saying he's not badass. See? You can't. With those gigantic feet, spikes and tail, he is one of the most vicious of the first 151.

But.. there also is a downside. It's stats are decent, but there's no particular stat that's extremely good. When EV trained, you can make a useful Pokémon out of him. A suggested EV spread is 252 Special Attack/Attack, 252 Speed/HP and 6 on the remaining stat. His Special Attack is surprisingly high for a more Physical looking Pokémon. It got a boost in Gen V, when it had access to the Hidden Ability Sheer Force, which is very handy.

Let's take a look at his movepool. He does learn a few good moves by levelling, including Megahorn and Earth Power. But be careful with thjose moves, it is not convenient to combine them. He has access to quite some great moves, including Sludge Wave and Focus Blast. But when you choose to use him physically, I can recommend Poison Jab and Earthquake. I recommend Mild nature when Special, and Naughty when Physical.

So, please leave in the comments below what you thought of this review!
