Heracross Review

So we all know Heracross, the Bug/Fighting type introduced in Gen II. It is the Single Horn Pokémon, and looks pretty cool to me. With a gigantic horn, a tough body and spiky legs it seems like a worthy opponent.
Let's get to his stats. None of them are exceptionally high, except for its Attack. 125 base attack is very high for a Basic Pokémon. A suggested spread is 252 Attack, 252 Special Defense and 6 HP. Combine it with its Hidden Ability Moxie and you've got a pretty good sweeper.

His movepool isn't bad either. Having Night Slash when hatched, is a good advantage to opponents of the same level. Aerial Ace at level 10, Brick Break at level 25, Close Combat at level 34 and Megahorn at level 46. Wow.. This Pokémon has got a lot of good moves. By TM it can learn some increcible useful moves, like Swords Dance, Smack Down, Substitute etc. A very popular combination in competitive play is Toxic Orb + Facade + Guts.

Overall, this Pokémon is powerful, and ver useful as a "kamikaze". I'm giving it an 8/10.
